Qualification    : B Tech/B.E (Civil Engg) with minimum 60% marks – Full time course
                          from a reputed University/Institute approved by UGC/AICTE
 
    Masters Degree/ M.Tech/M.E in Civil Engg./ Structural Engg/Infrastructure Engg./Building Technology/Construction Management/Transportation Engg. is preferred.
 
    Working knowledge of Malayalam will be an added advantage.
 
Experience    : Minimum 17 years of post-qualification experience in managerial cadre in the area of Civil Engineering/Structural Engineering/Project Engineering in a reputed and well established organizations, out of which atleast 8 years experience in Project Planning and execution of Civil Engg. Projects and Maintenance activities and should have handled infrastructure projects worth minimum cost of Rs.500 crores.
Should have good   administrative, liaisoning and   resource    management skills   and   thorough   knowledge of modern construction practices and project management techniques.
                       Candidates with proven project execution skills in airport sector is preferred.

Indicative Job Profile: Job responsibilities include planning, project development andimplementation of civil engineering projects and maintenance works in the airport. Design review and lead the team for execution of Civil & structural works for construction of Terminal Building/allied activities at airport while adhering to safety & quality standards within specified time and cost. Selected candidate will be responsible for appointment of high-performance EPC vendors, execution and construction of projects as a project lead. Role includes having control and supervision of all the construction activities, study, modification & implementation of execution drawings, coordinate with all Contractors/ Consultants/ PMC at site, Analyse the MIS, monthly schedule, checking the layout and ensuring un-interrupted progress of work with good quality & Safety including necessary coordination with in-house team and external stake holders including various Govt agencies /Departments.

Internal candidates possessing the prescribed educational qualification, shall be given relaxation upto 2 years in age limit and total managerial experience in relevant field.

Selected candidate will be appointed on probation. Probation period will be normally for one year, on successful completion of which confirmation in the regular service of the Company will be considered. Probation period is liable to be extended at the discretion of the management.
 
Remuneration package will include Basic Pay, Industrial DA, HRA, Allowances, Provident Fund, Medical reimbursement, Conveyance facility etc., as per company rules. As per the present pay package, Gross salary excluding fringe benefits would be approximately Rs.1,96,000/- per month and CTC will be Rs.2,80,000/- per month.
 
Airport is a continuously operating entity functioning round the clock. Selected candidates shall be required to work on any shift as assigned by the Company. They may be posted on any duty/assignment as deemed fit by the Company and shall carry out the duties as assigned.   Airport being an essential service, employees are likely to be called for duty at any time depending upon the exigencies of work.
 
They will be required to undergo and qualify the mandatory training programmes and tests and other prescribed courses applicable to the personnel engaged in various functional areas of airport service, as decided by the management from time to time.
 
They are liable to be transferred/deputed to any department/branch/unit/subsidiary/joint venture of the Company as the case may be or posted to any unit/ branch/project location/ subsidiary/joint venture currently in existence or to be formed in future that may be located anywhere in India or abroad.
